| Bio: | Bio time. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you're excited. I'm excited. Here we go:
I'm a 30 year old stay at home mother of two wonderful little boys. Both born totally naturally (not that I begrudge other women their drugs, but I suffered through the pain, I should at least get to brag about it a little!) Okay. Anyway. I'm married, my husband is also wonderful. I never believed in soul mates until I met him. I write positive things about him almost all the time. If women who actually like their spouse and children frighten you or depress you, then this might not be the journal for you.
In real life I'm loud, unsubtle, and I give TMI way too often. I'm pretty good at almost everything, but not brilliant at anything. I hate being told what to do. I have a poor memory. Nothing grosses me out. I have a degree in Math that I one day hope to actually use again. I have trouble not swearing. I'm opinionated and willing to assert myself, but I don't like conflict. I drive like crap -- I've totalled two cars and had numerous fender benders. I'm a very physical person, and I love to play sports (basketball in particular), lift weights, etc. I giggle uncontrollably when bad things happen and don't always display appropriate social responses. I hate mean people, and I try to defend underdogs. I believe in honesty, but not as an excuse for rudeness or cruelty. I love fictional romantic angst and sexual tension, but I hate cheese and "let's discuss our feelings." I love strong female characters. I love to look at attractive men. I don't squee, for the most part, but I get pretty darn close sometimes.
I'm Christian and politically I'm slightly on the conservative side of moderate, but I don't really like to be pigeon-holed. Please don't assume that these labels mean I'm racist, sexually uptight, homophobic, or a whack-job, and I'll try to limit my assumptions about you. I don't use livejournal as a means to debate politics or religion, but I do welcome a respectful discussion, and I'm interested in perspectives differing from my own.
My life is pretty good, but I still cry sometimes.
